ORDINANCE NO. 74-41
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A TEN FOOT (101) WIDE EASEMENT STRIP OUT OF
THE A. WILLIAMS SURVEY, ABSTRACT 385, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT:

That that certain ten foot (10') wide easement extending five feet
(5") on each side of the centerline described as follows:
BEGINNING at a concrete monument being the
northeast corner of that certain 22.495 acre
tract of land conveyed to CALDER PLACE PRO-
PERTY COMPANY, INCORPORATED, by MIRIAM
ALEXANDER MCCLURE, ET AL by deed dated January
85, 1958, recorded in Volume 1098, Page 86 of
the Deed Records of Jefferson County, Texas.
THENCE South 0043'45" east a distance of five
feet (5') to the point of beginning;
THENCE with the North line of said 22.495
acre tract South 89°5'30" west a distance
of 35'feet;
THENCE South 0°43'45" east a distance of
978.6 feet to a point ten feet (10') north
of a certain 0.251 acre tract conveyed by
LEONARD STONE, trustee to the FIRST ASSEMBLY
OF GOD CHURCH, Beaumont, Texas by deed dated
November 5, 1962, and recorded in the Deed
Records, Jefferson County, Texas, Volume 1323,
Page 341; said point also being in the north
line of a 10 foot wide easement granted to
the City of Beaumont dated April 8,1974,
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by law; and the City of Beaumont hereby
relinquishes any and all rights, title and interest it had or may
have in and to such easement.
