SUBJECT: To consider a request for a Variance to the maximum owner identification sign

from 50' to 70'.

Amir Halai is requesting a Variance to allow a 70' tall sign at 2440 Interstate Highway 10 East.
Plans have been submitted to construct a new Bugger King restaurant at this location. Mr. Halai
states that due to an existing billboard, a 50' tall sign would not be visible.
The applicant shall have the burden of proof to demonstrate that all three conditions necessary
for approval have been met.

a hardship relating to convenience, financial considerations or caprice, and the hardship must not result
from the applicant or owner's own actions.

Due to a billboard on die property, we are requesting for a variance to have an additional 20' feet allowance for a pole
sign for Burger Kung at a total height of 70' OAH to be approved and to clear die visibility from the billboard.
Please do take our humble request into consideration due to the circumstances of our sign not being able to get good
visibility due to fine billboard.
