INTEREST AND CREATING A SINKING FUND FOR THE BOND
ACCOUNTS THEREIN MENTIONED,. AND PROVIDING.A SAVINGS
CLAUSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the tax of forty-five ($.45) cents on each one hundred dollars
.($100.00) valuation of all taxable property within the limits of
The City of Beaumont heretofore levied for interest and sinking
fund accounts and ordered collected by an Ordinance passed by the
City Council of The City of Beaumont on the 4th day of September,
1951, be, and the same is hereby apportioned among the various
interest and sinking funds as follows:
To the interest and sinking fund of Airport Bonds No. 1,
dated July 1, 1929, Four and Seven -tenths mills ($.0047).
To the interest and sinking fund of Airport Bonds No. 2,
dated December 1, 1939, Eight and Three -tenths mills ($.0083).
To the interest and sinking fund of Assembly Hall Bonds No.
1, dated -December 1, 1939, One and Seven -tenths mills -($.0017).
To the interest and sinking fund of City Hall and Auditor-
ium Bonds No. 11, dated December 1, 1926, Eight mills 000$0).
To the interest and sinking fund of Fair Park Bonds No. 1,
dated May 1, 1931, Four and Nine -tenths mills 0.0049).
To the interest and sinking fund of Fire Department Bonds,
19221, dated October 19 1922, Two and Six -tenths mills ($.0026).

Section 2.
That the City Tax Assessor and Collector is hereby instructed
to prorate the said sums so assessed according to the provisions
of the Ordinance, and to so present his statement and report to the
Director of Finance that said officer may be able to place all col-
lections made under said tax to the credit of the proper fund, and
that the same may not be diverted or used for any other purpose.
Section 3.
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this Ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such section, sub-
section, sentence, clause, phrase or portion shall be deemed a
separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof.
