WHEREAS., the City Planning and Zoning Commissioni.of said
City, in --compliance withthe Charter and State laws with reference
to the .zoning. ordinance- regulations and 'zoning map, have- given
-requisite notice's by publication and.otherwise', and after.holding
due hearing.and.,.affording a.full-and,,fai"r hearing -to -all the prop--
erty.owners generally, -and the persons -.interested, situated in the
-.affected. area and in the vicinity thereof, the City Council of The

(c) A tract of land, being all of Block 3 and Lots 1
through 61 Block 4, Laurel Heights Addition to the City of Beau-
mont, shall be zoned and have a zoning area classification of "R-3".
The City Planning Engineer is hereby directed to correct
the.offioial zoning map in.the.office of the City Clerk to reflect
the above changes.
Section 2.
That in all other respects the.use of the property here-
inabove described shall be subject to all the applicable regulations
contained in the zoning ordinance of The,City of Beaumont, enacted
by the City Council on June 71 1955.
Section 3.
That the terms and provisions of the ordinance shall be
deemed to be severable, in' -that if the validity of the zoning af-
fecting any portion of the property described hereinabove shall be
declared to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity'of
the zoning of the balance of the property described herein.
Section 4.
Any person or corporation violating any of the terms and
provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to the same penalties
provided for in the zoning ordinance passed by the City Council on
June 7, 1955.
