AN ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE VACATING AND
CLOSING OF A PORTION OF PRINCE STREET
ABUTTING LOTS ONE -(l) THROUGH NINETEEN (19)
BLOCK.FIVE (5) OF PERKINS ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
THAT the hereinafter described portion of Prince Street abutting
Lots One (1) through Nineteen (19) Block Five (5) of the Perkins
Addition to The City of Beaumont, be, and the same is hereby
authorized to be vacated and closed, and that the title to said
vacated and closed portion of said street shall revert to and
become the property of the persons legally entitled thereto
under the laws of the State of Texas and Ordinances of The City
of Beaumont, said abandoned portion of Prince Street being des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 190,
Block 101, Forest Addition to the City of Beau-
mont, Jefferson County, Texas, said point lying
in the south line of Prince Street as established
through the Forest Addition, and also being in
the east line of Lot 1, Block 51 Perkins Addition;
Thence north along the east line of said Lot 11
Block 5, Perkins Addition or the west line of
Lot 19-1 Block 10, Forest Addition produced north
twenty-six (26) feet more or less to the north-
east corner-of.said Lot 1, said point being in
the south line of Prince Street (formerly Prim-
rose Avenue) as established through the Perkins
Addition;
Thence east along the north line of Lot 11 Block
5, Perkins Addition or the south line of Prince
Street (formerly Primrose Avenue) produced east-
ward fifty-eight and seven tenths (58.7) feet
more or less to its intersection with the south
line of Prince Street as established through the
Forest Addition, said point lying in the north=
west line of Lot 18, Block 101 Forest Addition;

Thence in a southwesterly direction along the
northwesterly lines of Lots 18 and 19 or the
southwesterly line of Prince Street as establi-
shed through Block 10, Forest Addition sixty-
four and eight tenths (64.8) feet more or less
to the place of beginning.
