ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFI-
CIALS.OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DE-
LIVER FOR. AND ON BEHALF OF THE. CITY OF. BEAUMONT A
QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING APPROXIMATELY 214.$ SQUARE
FEET OF -LAND ABUTTING THE EAST LINE OF GRAY STREET
AND. THE SOUTHERLY. LINE. OF BLANCHETTE STREET, AS
NOW ESTABLISHED, IN.THE NOAH'TEVIS SURVEY IN THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT,.JEFFERSON.COUNTY TEXAS, TO.,
CHARLES GENARO, FOR THE SUM OF ,$12;.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Otho Plummer, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to exe-
cute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a quit-
claim deed to Charles Genaro, conveying all of the Cityts right,
title and interest in and to the hereinafter described property,
for a consideration of One Hundred Twenty -Five ($125.00) Dollars:
A TRACT of land abutting the east line of Gray
Street and the southerly line of Blanchette Street
as they are now established, in the City of Beau-
mont, Jefferson County, Texas, being more particu-
larly described as follows:
Being a portion of that tract of land in -the Noah
Tevis Survey, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
purchased from.Nelson Tukes and wife, Bettie Tukes,
by deed recorded August 8, 1932, in Volume 369, -
Page 341, Deed Records, Jefferson County, Texas,
said portion being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of that certain
tract of land purchased by the City of Beaumont
from Nelson Tukes and wife, Bettie Tukes, and also
being the southeast corner of the tract herein de-
scribed;
Thence west along the south line of said above men-
tioned tract of land thirty-one (31) feet to corner
in the east line of Gray Street as now established;
Thence north along the east line of Gray Street as
now established, said line being parallel with and
thirty-one (31) feet distant from the east line of
above-mentioned tract, fifty-five and eight tenths
(55.$) feet, more or less, to its intersection with
the southerly line of Blanchette Street, as now
established;
Thence in a northeasterly direction along the south-
erly line of.Blanchette Street, as now established,
forty-one (41.) feet, more or less, to corner in the
east line of above-mentioned tract;

Thence south along the east line of said above men-
tioned tract -eighty-two and seventy-five hundredths
(82.75) feet, more or less, to the place of. begin-
ning;
The above described tract contains 214.8 square
feet, more or less;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said•instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
