That the tax of 33 cents, 2 mills on each $100.00 valuation on all taxable property within the city limits of the City of Beau- mont, heretofore levied and ordered collected 'by an ordinance passed by the City Commission of the City of Beaumont on the 01 day of , A. That the City Tax Assessor & Collector is hereby instructed to pro -rate the said sun of thirty-three cents tivo mills ($.332) according to the provisions of this ordinance, and to so present his statement and report to the Director of Department of Finance that said off icer may be able to platy=all collections made under said tag to the credit of the proper fund and that the same may not be diverted or used for any other purposes. - Section 3. That all laws and parts of laws Vn conflict herewith be and the aame are hereby repealed in so fa as they conflict with this ordinance. -� Section 4. The fact that no apportionment has been made of the -33¢ 2 mills levied to provide for the interest and sinking fund for the bonded indebtedness of the City of Beaumont, creates an imperative pub.lic omex-gency necessitate ng -t-h:e=snspensiUn `of -the rule -requiring ordinances to be read at three separate meetings before their passage, wherefore said -rule is hereby suspended and'this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and signature of the Mayor.
