The above described tract is located in the John A. Veatch Survey, A-55,.Jefferson County,.Texas, and is. designated'as part of Lot 135 in the Gladys -City Oil, Gas and Manufacturing Company Subdivision and con- tains 34..530 acres, more or less,. shall be changed from its.present "R-3", Modified Two Family and Multiple Dwelling District area classification, and shall'be zoned and have 'a district area classification of" "I-1". Light Industrial" District. -2- do F� j ' 1-4 ' -T The City,Planning Engirieer'is hereby directed to correct the official zoning map in the office of the.City Clerk to reflect the above changes. Section 2. That in all other respects the use of the property herein- above described shall be subject to all the applicable regulations contained in the'zoning ordinance of The City of'Beau_mont, enacted by the City Council on June 7, 1955. Section 3. That the terms and provisions of the ordinance shall be deemed to be severable, and thatif the validity of the zoning af- fecting any portion of the property described hereinabove shall be declared to be invalid, the same shalln:ot. affect the validity of the zoning of the balance of the,'property described -herein. Section 4. Any person or corporation violating any of the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be subject ,t'o the same.penalties provided for in the zoning ordinance passed by the City Council on June 7? 1955.
