ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND CONFIRM-
ING THE ACT OF THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
IN EXECUTING A GEtvERAL WARRANTY DEED DATED THE
25TH DAY OF JUNE, A.D. 1940, TO BUTLER MDSE JOHN-
SON AND WIFE, ROSA JOHNSON, COVERING A CERTAIN
TRACT OF LAND OUT OF THE RHONE ADDITION T0. THE CITY
OF BEAUMCK T AND BEING. MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS, TO -WIT:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot
wine (9) of the Rhone Addition or the south-
east corner of Lot Eight (8) ; thence north
along the west line of Lot wine (9) or the
east line of Lot Eight .(8) twenty-four and
two-tenths (24.2) feet, -more or less, to
its intersection with the east line of Texas
Avenue as now established for the beginning
corner of this descriptian; thence contin-
uing north along the west line of Lot Nine
(9) or the east line of Lot Eight (8) one
hundred fifteen and six -tenths (115.6) feet
to corner; thence west along aline parallel
with and one hundred thirty-nine and eight -
tenths (139.8) feet distant from the south
line of - s aid Lots Eight (8) and Nine (9) of

That the act of the Mayor in executing a gen-
eral warranty deed exchanging the first above described
tract of land belonging to the City of Beaumon t t for the
second tract of land hereinabove described belonging to
Butler Mose Johnson and wife, Rosa Johnson, be, and the
same hereby is in all things ratified and confirmed.
