ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING
THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO ENTER
INTO A FIVE-1'EAR LEASE CONTRACT WITH THE TEXAS
HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF TEXAS ON CER-
TAIN PROPERTY SITUATED IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT AND
BEING A PART OF THE FAIR GROUNDS.PARK,.AND CANCEL-
ING
ANCELING ALL PRIOR LEASE CONTRACTS BETWEEN SAID PARTIES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he hereby is author-
Ized to enter into a certain lease contract, a copy of which
is attahed hereto and by reference made a part hereof for
all purposes, for a period of five (5) years with the Texas
Highway Commission of the State of Texas covering certain
landisituated in the City of Beaumont and being a part of the
Fair ark Tract, said land being fully described in said lease.
Be it further ordained that any and all lease con-
trac.tis on said property now in existence by and between the

City Of Beaumont and the Texas Highway Commission of the State
of Texas be, and they hereby are in all things cancelled, an-
nulled and v acatedo
PASSED by an affirmative votel �f the Cit CQtritllis-
