CHAPTER 39 OF ,THE REVISED,CODE OF ORDINANCES,'ADOPTED
BY` THE CITY OF BEAUMONT ON THE 7th, DAY OF.' FEI�B UARY.2911,
PROVIDING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. &CJD REGULATING VEHICLES. IN
THE USE OF CERTAIN STREETS IN. THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, AND
REPEALING AIL'ORDINANCES IN COITFI,ECT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE -C; ITY OF BEAUJJONT:
Section 1.,
That Article 826.of'Chapter 39 of the.Revised Code of
Ordinances adopted by the City of Beaumont on the -7th day of
F ebruary, 1911, providing for tr&.ific' regulations; rules of
the road, regulations of -automobiles, and other vehicles, be
and the same is..hereby amended by -'adding 'thereto the following
article, which shall be, numbered 826 A, and shall read as follows:
ARTICLE 826 A: It shall be unlawful for any person in charge of
any vehicle, or domestic animal or, -animals to allow said,vehicle,
or animal, or animals,.to-remain standing-kor longer period than
thirty minutes on .Orleans St., between'Bow,ie St. and the. T. & N.O.
R.R. tracks intersecting.'Orleans St. and.Crockett St.;' also on
that part of Crockett St. lying -between the said T.. & N. 0. R.R.
tracks and the,said T. & N. 0". R.R. park grounds now occupied by
.the S.'. F. City 'Ticket Office in. the City of Beaumont.
Section 2.
That all.ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here -
.with, 'b'e and the,,sai;ie are. hereby 'repealed.
Section 3.
The confusion.arising from congregating and standing vehicles
on the parts of said streets, as -above indicated, creates a public
emergency, and it is therefore ordered that the Rules requiring an
ordinance to be read at.three regular meetings be suspended and that
this ordinance be -put upon its'last reading and final passage; also
to be in effect and in full force from and after its approval
and publication as required by law.

The Ordinance,Committe, to whom was referred the proposed
ordinance amending Article No. 826, Chapter 39 of the Revised Code
of Ordinances, as set forth therein, hereto attached, marked Exhibit
A and made apart hereof, beg to report that it finds that relief
from the confused conditions on.the said parts of said streets, shQ1]jr CL
be granted; and therefore recommend that the proposed ordinance be
duly passed and adopted under the suspension of the Rule requiring
an ordinance to be read at the
