same,
BE IT ORDAINED BY TFL CITY C OUI I C IT OF THE C T_ TY' OF REATTION T :
Section I: It shall be unlawful for any person to stop
his team, automobile or vehicle of any bind or character in and within
the streets of the City of Beaumnont, e7LCept to place same, or cause same
to be placed paw lel vit the curb 1' e i --id street, an the side of
said team, automobile or e e placed or causer to be placed within a
distance of not more .thanes feet from the curb line of the street
in vrhich he stops, except the person in charge of the said teara,,
automobile or vehicle be engaged in receiving or discharging goods,
wares or merchanftise. to or from some place of business Where he stops
for the purpose.
Section 2: Any person violating this ordind.nee shall
be c?eemad guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the Corporation
Court, shall be fined in an-,.- sum not less than one dollar nor more than

twenty-five dollars.
Section 3: This ordinance shall tale effect and be in
full force from and. after its passage, approval by the, .ayor and
lawful publication.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Off+' THE CITY OF BEATHOU T :
Section I: It shall be unlawful for any person to stop
his team, automobile or vehicle of any king or character in and within
the streets of the City of Beaumont, e,icept to place sane, or cause same
to be placed par lel �itlj the curb 1' e of s id street, an the side of
said team; automocile ox e e placed or caused to be placed within a
distance of not more _than 44w -&@ Feet from the curb line of the street
in which he stops, except the person in charge of the said teara,-
automobile of vehicle be engaged in receiving or discharging Uoods,
tip -ares or merchandise. to or :groin some place of business ,iihere he stops
for the purpose.
Section 2: Any person violating; this ordindi.nce shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction irl the Corporation
Court, shall be fined in any sum not less than one dollar nor more than
twenty -sive dollars.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage, approval by the IfIayor and
la;rJ_ publicat ion.

GEHTLEMEN:-
Your Committee to whom was referred the proposed
ordinance requiring all teams, automobiles ,and .vehicles of
any kind or character, when stopped on the streets of the
CityL'of Beaumont to be placed so that the front and back
wheels next to the curb line shall be Within not-less.than
two ,feet of said line, beg to report that it has duly
considered said proposed ordinance, and find:
First: That it ;^aould be to the convenience
of the traveling public that such regulation be made.
Your Committee, therefore, recommends:
That the said proposed ordinance, hereto attached
marked "Exhibit A" and inade a part hereof, be duly adopted
and passed by this Council.
Respectfully submitted, on this the 19th day of
April, A.D. , 1910.
