C.1 -EY SECRETARY,

Dear Sar:-
The Orleans Realty Co. contemplate building a wholesale store
room on block 52 of the old town of Beaumont, Pacing west on Park street,
the size of the building to be about 100 x 170 feet. If this building
is oonstruoted, it will be for a hardware and mill supply house, and in
order for it to be utilized for this purposes it will be necessary to have
t
switching facilities. It is contemplated, if the City will give permiss-
ion, to have the Frisoo people run a switch across Park street into the
property of the -Orleans Realty Co., and as we do not desire to use any por-
tions of the streets of the City except to oross, I can hardly believe
the City would have any objection to the proposit.iQn.
This lettere therefore, is for the purpose of asking permissio n
from you and the City Council, to run said switch from a point on the main
line of the Frisco across Park street. Said swithh will run into block
62 close to the side walk line of the said property from the Bowie street
hide.
If it is. necessary for me to come before your honorable body to
make any :further explanation, it will be a pleasure to do so.
I would be glad to have you act upon tile matter at ones as it
