SECTION (c), OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF BEAUMONT,
TEXAS, TO PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF THE PARKING,
USE AND OCCUPANCY OF TRAILER COACHES; PROVIDING A
PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND REPELLING
ALL. ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Section 38-3, Subsection (c), of the Code of Ordinances of
Beaumont, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as
follows: 1.
ttSection 38--3. Parking outside of trailer parks
prohibited.
tt(c) A permit shall be required for all trailers
now parked outside trailer parks which were so
parked prior to December 31, 1961; the annual per-
mit renewal fee shall be a minimum of fifteen
dollars for each trailer coach and such fee shall
be paid to the building inspector. Such permit
fee shall be for the calendar ,year, ending the
thirty --first day of December of each year. Such
permit shall terminate and become void and of no
effect upon failure of the trailer coach occupant
to pay the fee hereinabove provided for prior to
its expiration, or -upon damage to such trailer
coach by fire, explosion, or any act of God to the
extent of twenty --five percent ( 25%) of the market
value of such trailer coach, or upon the moving of
such trailer coach off of the tract of ground upon
which it was located on or before December 31,
1961. The permit herein provided for is not trans-
ferable, and in the event the present occupant
moves from the trailer coach, the permit shall
terminate and no permit shall be issued on the
trailer coach for a new occupant, once a permit
terminates and becomes void; the building inspector
shall not issue a new permit on the same trailer
coach for occupancy outside a duly licensed trailer
park . tt

That any person or corporation violating any of the terms
and provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to the same
penalties provided for in Section 1-8 of the Code of Ordinances
of Beaumont, Texas.
3.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances should for any reason be held to be in-
valid, such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining
portions of this ordinance, and to such end various portions and
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.

That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.

WAY OF THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY ADJA-
CENT TO AND ABUTTING LOTS 13, 145 15, 16, AND 1'7
IN BLOCK 23 OF THE JARRETT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
BEATJMONT, JEFFERSON: COUNTY; TEXAS, TO MARIAN D.
MULLIGAN, EXECUTRIX OF THE ESTATE OF ADELLE L.
DAVID, DECEASED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Jack M. Moore, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute and deliver for and an behalf of The City of Beaumont a
quitclaim meed to Marion D. Mulligan, 'Executrix of the Estate of
Adelle 1. .'David deceased, conveying all of the Cityts right,
title and interest in and to the hereinafter described property:
All of that right of way of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad Company (Beaumont, Sour Dake and Western,
Railroad Company) adjacent to and abutting bots
Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15), Six-
teen (16) and Seventeen (17), in Block Twenty-
three (23) of the Jarrett Addition to The City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as the same
appears on the map or plat of said Addition on-
file
nfile in the office of the County Clerk of Jefferson
County, Texas;
and -the City Clerk is hereby authorized -to attest to said :instrument
and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
