ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE. PROPER OFFI-
CIALS OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECU'T'E AND DELIVER
A SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED TO HILDA W. OtNtILI,,CONVEY-
ING THE WEST 14 FEET OF LOTS NOS. 16 AND 17,.IN
BLOCK NO. 22 OF THE JARRETTE A,DDITION,.IN THE NOAH
TEVIS LEAGUE, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS
DESCRIBED Hr.EREIN, FOR THE SUM OF FOUR HUNDRED ($4.00.00)
DOLLARS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver for. and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a special warranty
deed, conveying to Hilda W.0-IN:e ll the following described tract
of land, to wit:
The west fourteen (14) feet of'Lots Nos. Sixteen
(16) and Seventeen (17) in Block No. Twenty. -two (22)
in the Jarrette Addition, in the Noah Tevis League,
Beaumont, Jefferson County,.Texas, more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southwest corner of Block 22 of
Jarrette Addition, same point being the point of
intersection of the east line of 17th Street and
the north line of the abandoned Missouri -.Pacific
Railroad right of way, and also being the south-
west corner of the tract herein described;
THENCE North along the east line of lith Street and
the west line of Block 22 for a distance of 50 feet
to the northwest corner of Lot 16 of Block 22 and
the southwest corner of. lot 15, Block 22;
THENCE East along the common line of lots 15 and 16
for a distance of 14 feet to a point in the west
line of:Interstate 10 -- North;.
THENCE South along the west line of Interstate 10 ..
North for a distance of 50 feet to a point in the
north line of the abandoned railroad right of way
and in the south line of'Block 22.
THENCE West along the north line of abandoned rail-
road right of way and along the south line of Block
22 for a distance of 14 feet to the place of begin-
ning;
CONTAINING in area 0.016 acre of land, more or less;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument
and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
