ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF .THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A GENERAL
WARRANTY DEED TO WILLARD J. HALL, CONVEYING AN 0.318
ACRE TRACT OF LAND OUT.OF AND A PART OF A FIVE ACRE
TRACT OF LAND THAT WAS1CONVEYED TO R. W. WILLIFORD
AND WIFE, EMMA WILLIFORD, BY DEED DATED AUGUST 6,
1009, RECORDED IN VOLUME 114, PAGES 134-135 OF THE
DEED RECORDS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, LESS THAT
0.262 OF ONE ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED BY THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT TO THE STATE OF TEXAS BY DEED DATED JUNE
29, 1965, RECORDED IN VOLUME 1431, PAGE 348 OF THE
DEED RECORDS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.,
,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute and de-
liver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a general warranty
deed conveying to Willard J. Hall.the following described tract of
land, to wit:
An 0.318 acre tract of land out of and a part of
that certain five acre tract that was conveyed to
R/. W. Williford by J. W. Wagner and wif e, Emma
-Wagner, by deed dated August 6, 1909, recorded in
Volume 114, Pages 134--135, of the Deed Records of -
Jefferson County, Texas; to which deed and the
record thereof reference is here made for a full
description of said five acre tract. The tract
herein conveyed being in the North 1/2 of the J. W.
Bullock Survey, in Beaumont; Jefferson'County,
Texas, and described as follows:
BEGINNING at th6 most Southerly corner of the tract
of land herein described, which point is at the
intersection of the.Northeasterly rightrof-way line
of the.Beaumont--'ort Arthur Highway (U.S. Highway No.
69) with the.East line of the R. W. Williford five
acre tract, an iron pin for corner;
THENCE North 390 361 West 184.79 feet along the
Northeasterly right -of --way line of the Beaumont -
Port Arthur Highway (U.S. Highway -No. 69) to the
most Westerly corner of the tract of land herein
described, iron pin for corner,
THENCE North 50o 241 East 150.00 feet to a point in
the East line of the R. W. Williford five acre
tract, which point is also the most Northerly corner
of the tract of land herein described, an iron pin
for corner;
THENCE South 00 321 East 238.01 feet along the East
line of the R.. W. Williford five acre tract to the
place of beginning;

-Less that 0.262 of one acre tract of land heretofore conveyed by
The City of Beaumont to the State of Texas by deed dated June 29,
1965, recorded in Volume 1431, Page 348 of the Deed Records of
Jefferson County, Texas, being more particularly described as
follows, to wit:
Being 0.262 of one acre of land, more or less, out
of and a part of that certain 0.318 acre tract of
land lying and being in the J. W. Bullock League,
Abstract No. 7, in Jefferson County, Texas, said
0.318 acre tract being the same land described in
a deed from Oscar Lee Williford, et ux, to Home-
stead Petroleum.Marketing Company dated December
24, 1957, recorded in Volume 1095, Page 65, Deed
Records of Jefferson County, Texas; said 0.262 of
one acre of land being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the pro-
posed easterly right-of-way line of Spur 380 with
the northerly line of said 0.318 acre tract, said
point being South 520 441 West a distance of 65.81
feet from the northeast corner of said 0.318 acre
tract;
Thence South 410 321 �7" East, a distance of 74.44
feet along the proposed easterly right-of-way line
of Spur 380, to a point for corner;
Thence South 10 481 West a distance of 142.39 feet
along the tract of land herein described to a point
for corner in the existing easterly right-of-way
line of Spur 380;
Thence North 370 161 West a distance of 184.79 feet
along the existing easterly right-of-way line of
Spur 380 to a point for corner;
Thence North 52° 441 East a distance of 84.19 feet
along the tract of land herein described to the
point of beginning, containing an area of 0.262 of
one acre of land, more or less;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to
affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
