ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFI--
CIAL'S OF THE CITY .OF B7EAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DE-
LIVER FOR AND ON BEHALF OF.THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, A
QUITCLAIM DEED, CONVEYING ALL OF THE CITYIS RIGHT,
TITiE AND INTEREST IN AND TO THE TRACT OF LAND DE --
SCRIBED HEREIN, IN THE JAMES DRAKE SURVEY, CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY,.TEXAS, TO EDWIN J.
TERRY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Jack M. Moore, Mayor, be and he is hereby authorized to exe-
cute and deliver'for and -on behalf of'The City of Beaumont a quit-
claim deed to Edwin J..Terry, conveying all of the Cityts right,
title and interest in'and to the hereinafter described property:
A parcel of land located in the James Drake Survey,
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, described
by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at an iron rod for corner in the south
line of Interstate 10, said corner being East 87.08
feet from the intersection of the south line of In-
terstate 10 and the north line of Concord Road (Beech
Avenue);
Thence South 51.20 feet to an iron rod for corner in
the north line of Concord Road, said corner being
Southeast 103.02 feet from the intersection of the
south line of Interstate 10 and the north line of
Concord Road (Beech Avenue);
Thence Southeast along the north line of said <,Con. -
cord Road 23.53 feet to an iron rod.for corner;
Thence North 68.0 feet to an iron rod for corner in
the south line of Interstate 10;
'Thence West along the south line of -Interstate 10
20.0 feet to the place of beginning;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
