ELECTRIC, GASOLENE TIIOTOR AND STEAM LOCOMOTIVES OR TRAINS
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BEATRTIONT; PROVID-
ING FOR A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF, AND REPEALING
AL -L ORDINANCES CONTRARY HERETO,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BEAMIIONT, TEXAS:
- Section 1 -
That it shall hereafter be unlawful for any
engineer or other person in charge of any electric, gaso-
lene motor or steam locomotive or train to run the same
within the corporate limits of the City of.Beaumont at a
greater rate of speed than twelve (12) miles per hour®
- Section 2 -
Any engineer or other person in charge of any
electric, o asolene motor or steam locomotive or train
violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof in the Corporation Court of the City of Beaumont,
shall be fined in any sum not more than One Hundred (0100®00)
Dollars,
Section 3 Q -
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed®

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
Section 1.

same within the corporate limits of the City of Beaumont
at a greater rate of speed than twenty (20) miles per
hour.
Section 2.
Any engineer or other person in charge of any
electric, gasolene motor or steam locomotive or train
violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof in the Corporation Court of the City of Beaumonts
shall be fined in any sLun not more than One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars.
Section 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
