Regulating the construction and re -construction of road beds
of steam railways on stre
et,s of the City of Beaumont,, paved or
to be paved.
BE `IT ORDADM. by the City Counibil of the , Cit y- of
Beaumont:
SEC. 1. That any'Railroad Company now occupying -any
paved street or portion thereof in the City of Bea.umont., shall
when ordered by the City Council of the ,City of Beaimont xatBe
or remove its track from such paved street, or :portion thereof,
and re -construct- its roadbed upon concrete. fo_ind-iitions accord-
ing to the plans and specifications prapared-by the: City En-
jincer of� the City o=' Beaumont. And -no Railroad: Company
,shall hb'reafter occupy any paved street or portion thereof in
the City of Beaumont, without constructing its roadbed as pro-
vided in this section of this Ordinance.
SEG. 2. That any Railroad Company nocupying any street
or portion of street in the City of Beaumont, ordere&lpaved by
the Cit-,,- Council of thd City of 73c-aumont, shall rais,e_,or re-
move its track from said street or portion there-of,when ordered
by the City Council, and re -construct its roadbed alsprovided
in Se( --;tion 1 of this Ordinance, and any Railroad Company,,
granted a right of way over, along, or upon any street or
portion thereof in the City of Beaumont, and vihich7sadd street
is ordered paved by the City Council, before the tracks of said
Railroad Company -h@:Vebeen- la A,- such railroad comp -any -shall--
not occupy such street or portion thereof without constructing
its roadbed in the manner provided in Section l.of,this Or-

move its'track from said stroet or portion therof,when ordered
by the City Council, and re -construct its roadbed -as provided
in Section 1 of this Ordinance, and any Railroad Company,,
granted a right of way over, along, or upon any streat or
portion thereof in the City of Beaumont, and v;hich rsaid street
is ordered paved by the City Council, before the tracks of said
- Railroad Company -hab'e- been -laid, -such railroad -company- shall- - -
no:-, occupy such street or portion thereof without constructing;
its roadbed .in the manner provided in Section l.of this Or-
Ainance .
SEC. 3. Such construction or re -construction of the
roadbed of any railr6ad company shall be under the super-
vision and to the satitfaction Uf the City Engineer of the
City of Beaumont.
SEC. 4. If any Railroad Company shall fail or

refuse to raise or remove.itstracks from any street Paved or
