Sec. 1.
That Saloons, grog-shope or ,other places for retailing spirit-
,uous,vinous,ma.lt and intoxicating liquors, may be conducted in the

Sec. ll .-
It shall not be lawful for any person or persons,firm, partner-
ship corporation or corporations, his, its or their agents or
employees under any style of naxge whatsoever, to conduct, maintain
or be concerned in conducting or maintaining?, any saloon, grog -,shop
or other place for retailing spirituous, vinous, malt, or intoxicat:-
ing liquors of any kind in any territory within the corporate limits
of the City of Beaumont, except the portion included within the
above boundaries, as set out in Sec.l. hereof; provided, however9
that ' nothing; in this ordinance -shall be construed to affect,viola,te
or viQ.ilate anyvalid liquor or beer license issued by Federal state,
county or municipal authorities nol.7z `in force within the li mits of
the city,

Sec. 11.1.
if any person or persorifs, Firm, partnership,, corporation or
corporations, his, its or their agents or employees under any style.,
or name whatsoever, shall conduct, maintain or be concerned in con-
ducting or maintaining any saloon, grog -shop or other place where
spiri'tixoils, vinous, malt or iritoxicating liquors of any kind what-

soever are bartered, sold or dispensed in a,ny many , within any

that described in Sec. # 1. of this ordinance, shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the Corporation

nor more than Two Hundred ($200,00) Dollars, and each day any, person

Sec. 111.
If any person or persons, Firm, par.tnership,. corporation or

Sec. IV.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect Thirty (30)
days from the date of passage by the City Council and shall be

week for:Three (2) consecutive weeks after its passage, which shall
be deemed and held sufficient notice to all parties interested in
