An Ordinance Amending Article 235 of Chapter XXII of the Revised
Civil acid Criminal -Ordinances of the City of Beaumontdefining in what
territory within the fire district only stone and brick buildings
shall be erected.,
-:BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF.BEAUMOT?T:-
See.I: That Article 235 of Chapter XXII of the Revised Civil and Crim
final Ordinances of the City of Beaumont relating to stone and brick
house of any character• of any other material than of stone or brick
upon any of the following Blocks or Lots within the fare district to wit:

$7.1 of Blocks AI4-I5-I6-29-4I-42-43 and fractional Block 72 and the ad
joining lands on the Pest and North West of Block 72 within the fire
district facing on Liberty Avenue ,.Bonham Street and Pearl Street and
Lots II4-II5-II2-II3 and I20 feet off Lot II9 facing Pearl Street all
in Block I7. And Lots 653-654-655-656-657 in Block 26. Lots 646-647 and
all of Lot 645 North of the T and N.O.Ry right of way in Block 25.

And any Person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall upon
conviction in the City Court.be fined in any sum not exceeding one
hundred dollars for each and every day such building or structure shall

Seca2: That this .ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
