An Ordinance
Apportioning the tax'of fifty`,cents :on . each one, hundred. dollars valuation
of 'all taxable property within 'the. limits of the City of Beaumont to pay
the interest and provide the,. required- sinking; fund to .pay the out -standing
bonded indebtedness of said city,`levied,assessed and ordered collected by
an ordinance duly passed and..; approved` by the City .Council of. the City of -
Beaumont on the 4th�day of May'1904•and recorded in Volume'l pages 295
and. 296 ' of .the Book of Ordinances of said City. .
36 it Ordained by the City Council of the .City of Beaumont:
Section I.
That the tax.of fifty. cent's (50 cts) on each one hundred dollars valuation
of xll - taxable property within , the limits of the City of Beaumont,levied
assessed and ordered collected to pay.the,,outstariding.ponded indebtedness
of said City,so levied assessed and ordered collected by an Ordinance. duly
adopted by ,the City' Council .'of said., City on the 4th day ,of• May '1904,be and
the same is hereby apportioned and shall be applied as follows: -
To the payment of • interest and sinking fund on the Sewrage. Bonds At Of
1891 56 mills(05.6) {�6.
To pay the interest' -and provide for the sinking fund on plater -works bonds
of 1891,2 •cents (0.2.0) „

Section 2nd.
That the City ,Tax Collector' is. heribby instructed to prorate.' -the said
total sum-of.fifty cents according to the provisions of this Ordinance
and to so prepare his statements and reports to the City Treasuer that,
said officer may be able to place* all collections to the credit of the
.proper fundsand the same shall not be diverted or used for any other
purpose..
Section 3rd.
That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances,in conflict,herewith are.here-
by repealed and that this Ordinance shall tkke effect and be.in force
from and ,afters 'its passage and, approval.
