The goal of this policy is to define the standard of care for any conscious overdose
patient.
ll. Protocol
A. Institute protocol "203.01A" for all patients.
B. Identify agent or agents taken.
C. Monitor for airway compromise or vomiting.
D. Monitor vital signs every S minutes.
E. Prepare for immediate transport.
