The goal of this policy is to define the standard of care for any patient presenting with
non-traumatic abdominal pain.
11. Protocol
A. Institute protocol "203.01A" for all patients.
B. Patient in position of comfort for transport.
C. Do not deeply palpate the abdomen.
D. Be prepared for vomiting.
E. Give nothing by mouth.
