COMPUTER POLICYUniform Operating Guidelines

PURPOSE:
To provide guidance to Beaumont Fire/Rescue members for the use of City of
Beaumont computer equipment, email, and internet.
POLICY:
Beaumont Fire/Rescue personnel shall be in compliance and are accountable as
outlined in City of Beaumont policies and procedures, 7.0 Computer Policy, 7.1
Email Policy, and 7.2 Internet Policy, when using City computer equipment.
These policies and procedures are provided as part of this operating guideline.
All members shall review, and are required to sign off to provide documentation
that they have knowledge of, and understand their obligation for compliance with
these policies and procedures. Company Officer will be responsible while on duty
for maintaining compliance at the Fire Station under their supervision.
Violations of these policies and procedures shall result in appropriate
disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Unlawful use may result in referral for criminal prosecution.
