I. Guiding PhilosophX
Many duties performed regularly by firefighters support training efforts through
repetition of job-related knowledge, skills and abilities. This policy exists so that personnel
receive full credit for all developmental activities performed.
II. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish a standard system of documenting routine
activities performed by members that support development and maintenance of job-related
knowledge, skills and abilities.
III. Goals
The goal of this policy is to detail the system used to appropriately document routine
duties that are considered training activities.
IV. Routine Duties Reauirina Documentation
A. Members will strive to accurately document completion of routine duties
assignments so that the productivity of individuals and crews is accounted for,
and so that the community's Insurance Services Office rating reflects this
productivity.
B. Personnel will refer to the Firehouse Software TrainidgModule located in
Laserfische/Fire Public/Foundational Documents/FH Training Module Data Entry
for guidance on correctly coding the following recognized routine duties in the
Firehouse Training Module:
