BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, C.L. Sherman has resigned from the Board of Directors of the
Jefferson County Appraisal District effective March 14, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council recommends that Lauren Mason be nominated to
serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Jefferson County Appraisal District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the City Council hereby nominates Lauren Mason to the Board of Directors
of the Jefferson County Appraisal District.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of
April, 2016.
