DESCRIPTION
The Clyde L. Renfro Collection consists of memorabilia of the World War II era. The collection
focuses on Clyde L. Renfro and his wife Mildred who were citizens of Beaumont during the war
years 1941-1945. The collection deciphers the life-styles of citizens during the era where almost
every commodity had been placed on a rationed basis in order to support the war effort.
The Clyde L. Renfro Collection is a relatively small collection consisting of two folders that
contain nine (9) assorted war rationing coupon books, one (1) RCA Radiogram, two (2) V -mail
and one (1) community song book.
