DESCRIPTION
Don Streator was a native of lake Arthur, Louisiana, but moved to Beaumont when he was very young.
In 1930 he was hired as a reporter with the Beaumont Enterprise newspaper, moved to the news desk in
1941, was promoted to news editor in 1945, and in December of 1963 he became the managing editor.
He served as managing editor until he retired in March of 1972. In 1968 he began writing a daily column
called "Another Day" in which he wrote about past headlines and events. At the time of his death in 1992
it is estimated he had written about 8500 of these columns.

Day" from the Beaumont Enterprise newspaper during 1991. These articles are about headlines that
occurred in the Beaumont Enterprise during 1941.
