The Grace Newton Papers span the period 1992-1999. The
collection focuses mainly on letters received by Grace Newton
during her involvement in World War II as a nurse. Receiving
letters mainly from her family members, including her mother,
father, and sister, Grace Newton also received a letter from the
War Price and Rationing Board. The letters concentrate on her
family's life back in Beaumont during her duty in World War II.
The collection also contains war memorabilia and shrapnel from
various battle fields around the world.
The collection is arranged by series, chronologically at the
folder level by subject heading.
