DESCRIPTION
The Beaumont Shipyard was established in 1917 as the Beaumont Shipbuilding and Drydock Company.
The Shipyard later became Pennsylvania Shipyard, the Bethlehem Steel Shipyard, and finally Trinity
Industries. This collection from James E. Steele contains mostly specifications, blueprints, and plans for
barges and other equipment including platforms from the Bethlehem Steel Company, Shipbuilding
