In 1933-1934, Averill Parent-Teacher Association cooperated with the National Recovery Act and saw membership rise to 328. The Averill Parent- Teacher Association sought to promote child welfare in the home, school, and community. The Parent-Teacher Association did so through various study groups and public presentations. This collection consists of 2 scrapbooks that contain a history of the Averill Parent-Teacher Association from 1915-1937. Also included are Parent-Teacher Association reports, budgets, newspaper clippings, and photographs.
