DESCRIPTION
This collection contains a booklet entitled "The story of your
newspaper: containing a brief history of their past and
description for layman of the processes involved in publishing a
large metropolitan daily." Indexes to the Diamond Jubilee,
comprised of interesting accounts of early Beaumont history,
events, people, etc. The index was compiled from the Beaumont
Enterprise, Texas by Charles (Madeline) Martin and given to the
Texas Room on November 6, 1955 (2 -typed copies included). Also
available is a handwritten index to the Enterprise regarding
general information about Texas between 1926-1947. This
information is contained within two folders.
