WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for maintenance and
repair services as needed by the Facilities Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Bruce's General Construction, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, submitted
a bid in the estimated amount of $210,050; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Bruce's
General Construction, Inc., of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby,
in all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by Bruce's General Construction, Inc., of Beaumont,
Texas, for an annual contract for maintenance and repair services as needed by the
Building Services Division in the estimated amount of $210,050 be accepted by the City
of Beaumont; and,
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contact with
Bruce's General Construction, Inc. for the purposes described herein.
