The examinee shall properly replace the downed firefighters face piece with a RIG face
piece.

Given a RIG pack, you will have to correctly change out the downed firefighter’s face
piece with the RIG’s face piece using the proper procedures and methods. The air supply shall be
above 1000psi. You will begin on my instruction to start. The skill will end when you have
successfully changed out the face piece. Do you understand these instructions?

The examinee will not be able to review the performance steps prior to testing. The
downed firefighter shall be in place for the skill prior to admitting the examinee into the test area.
Neither the RIG pack nor the SCBA shall be touched by the examinee prior to the start of testing.
