Given a fire department aerial apparatus with a multi-stage pump, you shall demonstrate
the operation of the volume/pressure transfer valve under actual pumping conditions. The skill
will end when you state to the examiner that you have completed all the identified steps. Do you
understand these instructions?

The Driver/Operator will be given a condition that requires him/her to start in the series
or pressure position and then change over to the parallel or volume position. The Driver/Operator
will not be allowed to review the performance steps at the time of testing.
