The firefighter will describe the methods to reduce the threat of fire exposure to improved
properties given a wildland/urban interface fire.

Given a wildland/urban interface fire scenario, and using the Incident Response Pocket
Guide (IRPG) and or Fire Line Handbook, you will describe the methods to reduce the threat of
fire exposure to structures. You will begin on my instruction to start. The skill will end when you
state to me that you have completed all of the identified steps. Do you understand these
instructions?

The firefighter will not be allowed to review the performance steps at the time of testing.
To meet the skill steps evaluation criteria thee firefighter shall identify, describe, and explain the
