The firefighter shall demonstrate the procedures for cleaning, maintaining, and inspecting
for damage fire hose, couplings, and nozzles.

You shall demonstrate the procedures for cleaning, maintaining, and inspecting for
damage on: 1) fire hose, 2) nozzles, 3) hose couplings. You will be required to verbalize key
steps while performing this skill. You will begin on my instruction to start. The skill will end
when you state to me that you have completed all of the identified steps. Do you understand
these instructions?
