I. I. I. ObjectiveObjectiveObjectiveObjective The firefighter shall demonstrate the operational check of a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and PASS device. He/she shall demonstrate the daily inspection or operational check that is performed to ensure that the SCBA and PASS device have no deficiencies that would limit or hinder its safe, prompt, and proper use. The maximum time to complete the skill will be 4 minutes. II. II. II. II. You shall verbalize the mandatory steps while performing this skill. You have 4 minutes to complete this skill. The skill will begin on my instruction to start. Time will stop when all the identified steps have been accomplished and you put your hands in the air to signal that you are finished with this skill. Do you understand these instructions? III. III.
