WHEREAS, the claim of Ikea Tyler has been discussed in an Executive Session
properly called and held Tuesday, February 3, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney is requesting authority to settle this claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Ikea
Tyler for the receipt of the sum of Nine Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100 Dollars
($9,500.00); and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute all documents related to settlement of the claim.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 17th day of
February, 2015.
