WHEREAS, bids were solicited for an annual contract for the purchase of Aluminum
Sulfate for use by the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc., of Little Rock, Arkansas, submitted a
bid for an estimated amount of$453,286.67 as shown below:

and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by GEO Specialty
Chemicals, Inc., of Little Rock, Arkansas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the statements and findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby, in
all things, approved and adopted; and,
THAT the bid submitted by GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc.,of Little Rock,Arkansas,
for an annual contract for the purchase of Aluminum Sulfate for use by the Water Utilities
Department in the unit amounts as shown above for an estimated amount of$453,286.67
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
