WHEREAS, the lawsuit styled Entergy Gulf States Louisiana. LLC, et al v. Texas
Commission on Environmental Quality was discussed in Executive Session properly called
and held Tuesday, May 4, 2010; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit styled
Entergv Gulf States Louisiana. LLC, et al v. Texas Commission on Environmental Quality;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit styled Entergv
Gulf States Louisiana. LLC.et al v.Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for the sum
of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute all documents necessary to settle the lawsuit styled Entergv Gulf States Louisiana,
LLC, et al v. Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 4th day of May,
