HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 08 268 RESOLUTION NO. 08-268 WHEREAS, the Port of Beaumont Navigation District of Jefferson County, Texas, has agreed to convey a sixty-six foot(66') wide permanent drainage easement, described as 0.04 acres out of Tract 3, Steam Mill Square, Original Townsite of Beaumont, and adjacent temporary construction easements, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, to the City of Beaumont for the Calder Avenue Drainage Project; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance is necessary and desirable and that same should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the easements conveyed by the Port of Beaumont Navigation District of Jefferson County, Texas, as described in Exhibit"A"and shown on Exhibit"B," be and the same are hereby accepted.
