WHEREAS, GKH, Inc., has offered to convey a thirty-seven foot (37')wide Sanitary
Easement, for property located near Major Drive and Westfield Avenue, being out of the
Hezekiah Williams Survey, as described in Exhibit"A" and shown on Exhibit"B,"attached
hereto, to the City of Beaumont for the purpose of providing access for sewer services;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and
is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance is necessary and desirable and
that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the easement conveyed by GKH, Inc., as described in Exhibit "A" and shown on
Exhibit "B," be and the same is hereby, in all things, accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of

Legal Description: 0.2757 Acre Sanitary Sewer Easement
Hezekiah Williams Survey,Abstract No. 56
Jefferson County,Texas
BEING a 0.2757 acre sanitary sewer easement situated in the Hezekiah Williams Survey, Abstract No.
56, Jefferson County, Texas and being out of and part of that certain called 1.701 acre tract of land as
described in a "Special Warranty Deed with Vendor's Lien" from Delaware Extension Development, Ltd.
to GKH, Inc. as recorded in Clerk's File No. 2007048678, Official Public Records of Real Property,
Jefferson County, Texas, said 0.2757 acre tract being more particularly described as follows:
NOTE.- All bearings are based on the East right-of-way line of F.M. Highway 364 North
of Westfield Avenue as NORTH 02'53'10" WEST as recorded on the final plat of Fairfield
Phase I as recorded in Volume 17, Page 256,Map Records,Jefferson County, Texas.
COMMENCING at an iron rod with a cap stamped "Carroll & Blackmon" found for the intersection of
the East right-of-way line of F.M. Highway 364 (also known as Major Drive) and the North right-of-way
line of Westfield Avenue, said corner also being the Southwest corner of the said 1.701 acre GKH, Inc.
tract;
THENCE NORTH 02 053'10" WEST, for a distance of 10.00 feet to the Southwest corner and POINT
OF BEGINNING of the easement herein described, said point also being the intersection of the North
line of a 10 foot wide utility easement as recorded on the final plat of Fairfield Phase I, a subdivision of
the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 17, Page 256, Map Records,
Jefferson County, Texas and the East right-of-way line of F.M.Highway 364;
THENCE NORTH 02 053'10" WEST, along and with the East right-of-way line of F.M. Highway 364,
for a distance of 315.00 feet to a 5/8" iron rod set for the Northwest comer of the said 1.701 acre GKH,
Inc. tract;
THENCE SOUTH 87 006'50" WEST, along and with the North line of the said 1.701 acre GKH, Inc.
tract, for a distance of 37.00 feet to a point for comer;
THENCE SOUTH 02 053'10" EAST, parallel and 37 feet perpendicular to the East right-of-way line of
F.M. Highway 364, for a distance of 269.18 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE SOUTH 21035'46" EAST, for a distance of 48.38 feet to a point for comer, said corner being
in the North line of the above referenced 10 foot wide utility easement;
THENCE SOUTH 87 006'50" WEST, along and with the North line of the said 10 foot wide utility
easement, for a distance of 52.52 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 0.2757 ACRES,
more or less.
