HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 08 190 RESOLUTION NO. 08-190 WHEREAS, Madison Communities Group, L.P., has offered to convey a ten-foot (10') wide Water Line Easement, being out of the Daniel Easley Survey, as described in Exhibit "A," Pages 1 - 3 and shown on Exhibit "A," Pages 4 and 5, attached hereto, to the City of Beaumont for the purpose of providing access for fire protection to the proposed Beaumont Trace Apartments located on Major Drive north of FM 105; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance is necessary and desirable and that same should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the easement conveyed, as described in Exhibit "A," Pages 1 - 3 and shown on Exhibit "A," Pages 4 and 5, be and the same is hereby, in all things, accepted. Fraze as recorded in Clerks File No. 2003019694 of the Official Public Records of Jefferson County, Texas, said centerline description being more particularly described as follows: Note: The Basis of Bearing is a south line of Lot 1, Block 1 of Madison On The Lake, a plat recorded in Volume 16, Page 139 of the Map Records of Jefferson County, Texas and a north line of the said 9.966 acre having been called North 89 030'33" East 790.00 feet.
