Home My WebLink AboutRES 08-094 RESOLUTION NO. 08-094 WHEREAS, Community Bank of Texas, N.A., has offered to convey a ten-foot(10') wide Water Line Easement, being a 0.033 acre of land out of an 8.4479 tract situated in the Hezekiah Williams Survey, Jefferson County, Texas, as described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit"B"attached hereto,to the City of Beaumont for the purpose of providing mandatory access to the water lines and fire hydrants for fire prevention services for the new Community Bank property located at Dowlen and Delaware and also allow for the construction, alteration, operation and maintenance of the said water line and appurtenances; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance is necessary and desirable and that same should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the easement conveyed by Community Bank of Texas, N.A.,as described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto be and the same is hereby, in all things, accepted.
