WHEREAS, proposals were received for a contract for furnishing emergency
standby products and services, as needed, in the event of a declared disaster; and,
WHEREAS, Garner Environmental Services, Inc., of Deer Park, Texas, submitted
a proposal for a five (5) year contract with a renewal option of an additional five (5) years
subject to mutual agreement by both parties; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the proposal submitted by Garner
Environmental Services, Inc., of Deer Park, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the proposal submitted by Garner Environmental Services, Inc., of Deer Park, for
a five (5) year contract for furnishing emergency standby products and services, as
needed, with a renewal option of an additional five (5)years subject to mutual agreement
by both parties be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23'day of May,
