WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of wireless data communication
equipment for use in Police, Fire, and EMS vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, Portable Computer Systems, Inc., Golden, Colorado, submitted a bid
in the unit amounts shown below for a total cost of$71,820:
140 RECEIVERS 140 ANTENNAE

; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Portable
Computer Systems, Inc., Golden, Colorado, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Portable Computer Systems, Inc., Golden, Colorado, in the unit
amounts shown above for a total cost of $71,820 for the purchase of 140 receivers and
140 antennae for use in Police, Fire, and EMS vehicles be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of May,
2006.
