ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL
BUDGET OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 2005 TO APPROPRIATE AND TRANSFER $350,000
FROM THE GENERAL FUND AND $200,000 FROM THE
WATER FUND TO THE GENERAL LIABILITY FUND; AND
APPROPRIATING $365,900 FOR THE GOLF COURSE
FUND; APPROPRIATING $924,300 FOR THE
CONFISCATED GOODS FUND;APPROPRIATING$852,100
FOR THE CAPITAL RESERVE FUND; AND
APPROPRIATING $247,200 FOR THE FLEET FUND;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
THAT the Fiscal Budget of the City of Beaumont for the period commencing October 1,
2004 through September 30,2005 be and the same is hereby amended to appropriate and
transfer the sums of$350,000 from the General Fund and $200,000 from the Water Fund
to the City General Liability Fund.
Section 2.
That the Fiscal Budget of the City of Beaumont for the period commencing October
1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 be and the same is hereby amended to appropriate
$365,900 for the Henry Homberg Golf Course Fund from revenues of the Henry Homberg
Golf Course to cover operations of the Golf Course.
Section 3.
That the Fiscal Budget of the City of Beaumont for the period commencing October
1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 be and the same is hereby amended to appropriate
$924,300 for the Confiscated Goods Fund from funds received through police seizures
during the Fiscal Year 2005.
Section 4.
That the Fiscal Budget of the City of Beaumont for the period commencing October
1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 be and the same is hereby amended to appropriate
the sum of$852,100 from fund balance in the Capital Reserve Fund for use in the Fiscal
Year 2005.
Section 5.
That the Fiscal Budget of the City of Beaumont for the period commencing October
1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 be and the same is hereby amended to appropriate
an increase in expenditures of$247,200 in the Fleet Fund supplies and equipment to cover
unanticipated fuel cost increases.
Section 6.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance, or the
application of same to a particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any reason
be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
Section 7.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed to the
extent of the conflict only.
