HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 05-111 RESOLUTION NO. 05-111 WHEREAS, Margaret Ann Laurents, acting by and through Ann Oldham, her agent and Attorney-in-Fact, has conveyed a ten (10') foot drainage easement [for a distance of 145 feet]for the installation of an 18"to 24"storm line from Highland Avenue west to Wilbur Boulevard to the City of Beaumont out of their property located at 5240 Highland Avenue, being Lot 7, Block 1 of Marmion Place Addition, Jefferson County, Texas, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes; and, WHEREAS,the City Council has considered the conveyance of said easement and is of the opinion that the delivery and receipt of said easement of property is necessary and desirable and that same should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the easement to the above described tract of land tendered by Margaret Ann Laurents, acting by and through Ann Oldham, her agent and Attorney-in-Fact, be and the same is hereby in all things accepted.
